Cafi Rod Art
Sofia “Cafi” Rodriguez is a Chicago-based visual artist who tells stories in color, clay, and canvas. Her work dances at the intersection of pop art and personal history, blending bold symbolism with a wry, sensual wit. Rooted in her Latin American heritage and shaped by cityscapes across the U.S. and Europe, her pieces explore identity, movement, and emotional texture.
A graduate of Harvard University (MA), Rodriguez draws inspiration from the pulse of Flamenco, her lifelong hobby—as well as the natural world and animals, which remain her true passion. But her signature style is unmistakable: vivid, graphic compositions that use vivid colors and attitude to subvert and celebrate pop culture tropes. Her sculptures are at once playful and biting—eye candy with a sharp edge.
Her work has been featured in curated exhibitions in Milano, Napoli, Venezia and Monaco, inviting viewers into a world where legacy and irreverence share the same stage.
“I like my colors loud, my symbols loaded, and my clay just a little rebellious.” —
